These samples are brief but meaningful glimpses into my approach to the storytelling process. Read them for what they are – rough drafts with minor typos...but also as whimsical Bradbury-esque signposts toward my own creative impulse.

The routine Mr. C. must navigate a morning full of odd, unpredictable flights of fancy as he runs the morning's errands. But he soon finds he's not alone in being infected by runaway reveries.
This tale was a writing experiment in creating a "geomyth". The story layers a humorous narrative onto a real local river's supernatural origin. It is related to but different from "The Little God of the Hinge".
Like the above, this creative fiction essay strived to layer a "pseudo-legend" of the Saints and Sinners Fountain presently in front of Oakland University's Kresge Library. Originally a blog, I distributed fliers across the OU campus advertising this bit of "lore"...until the school kindly asked me to stop.
